CrossFit Fractal understands that your privacy is important to you. We are committed to protecting the privacy of your personally-identifiable information as you use this website. This Privacy Policy tells you how we protect and use information that we gather from you. By using this website, you consent to the terms described in the most recent version of this Privacy Policy. “We” and “our” mean CrossFit Fractal and its affiliates. “You,” “your,” “visitor,” or “user” mean the individual accessing this site.

What this website collects

This is a single-page website with one form on it. We want to be specific about what that means in practice, rather than leave you to guess.

Information you give us

If you fill in the enquiry form, you send us your first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), what you are interested in, whether you are new to CrossFit, and anything you write in the message box. We use that information solely to contact you about training with us and to answer what you asked. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your agreement.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our host records standard technical information when you visit — your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and when. This is non-personal information: it cannot identify you as an individual, and there are no restrictions on how we may use or share it.

We do not run analytics software, we do not show advertising, and we do not use tracking pixels or web beacons on this site.

Cookies

We do not set cookies of our own. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working — for example, to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic. Most web browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can normally change your browser settings to decline them.

Services we rely on

Some of your information necessarily passes through companies we use to run this website. Each of these has its own privacy policy governing what it does with that information:

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and security for this website.
• Resend — delivers your enquiry to us by email.
• Twilio — may send us a text alert when an enquiry arrives.
• Stripe — processes payments for memberships and services. Card details are entered with and held by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Google Fonts and jsDelivr — serve the fonts and scripts this page uses, and will see your IP address as part of that.

How we use personal information

We may keep and use personal information we collect from or about you to provide you with access to this website or to our products and services, to respond to your requests, to bill you for services you purchased, to provide ongoing service and support, to contact you with information that might be of interest to you, for record keeping, and to research, develop and improve our programs, services and content.

We may also use your personal information to protect our rights or property, to protect someone’s health, safety or welfare, and to comply with a law or regulation, court order or other legal process.

Do we share personal information?

We will not share your personal information collected from this website with an unrelated third party without your permission, except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy. In the ordinary course of business, we may share some personal information with companies we hire to perform services on our behalf, such as those named above. In all such cases we do not authorise them to keep, disclose or use your information for any purpose other than providing the service we asked them to provide.

If your enquiry requests a response from us, we may reply by email, and that reply may include your personal information. We cannot guarantee that emails to you will be secure from unauthorised interception.

How personal information is secured

We have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security in order to protect personally-identifiable information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. Only authorised personnel and third party vendors have access to your personal information, and they are required to treat it as confidential. Despite these precautions, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised persons will not obtain access to your personal information.

This site contains links to other websites, including our Google Business Profile. CrossFit Fractal is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those sites.

Accessing, changing or deleting your information

You may access, correct, update and/or delete any personally-identifiable information that you have submitted through this website, and you may unsubscribe from any mailing list. To do so, contact us at kyle@trainfractal.com and we will action it.

Children’s privacy

CrossFit Fractal will not intentionally collect any personal information — such as a child’s name or email address — from children under the age of 13 through this website. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

CrossFit Fractal reserves the right to modify this statement at any time. Any change will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and if a change is material we will include a notice on the homepage for a period of time.
